Holly The Hover Dog

This comic is the final product from the Griffith intensive course 2104GFS Comics and Sequential Storytelling. The requirement for the final assessment task was a minimum of four completed comic book pages (plus one cover page) of a creator-owned story written by the student, prepped for print or screen.

I tried to keep my idea simple so I chose something that I always had in the back of my mind for a fun childrens' book: Holly the Hover Dog. It's a Christmas story, which I think I subconsciously chose due to the time of year that I was completing this course, and involves a vast arctic setting, minimal dialogue, and features a fairly well known character that I almost certainly don't have permission to use. Even though I took steps to minimise the amount of work involved, this was still a huge task for one person to complete.

I had a lot of fun learning about how comics are made and creating this final product, and I hope you enjoy reading it.
